Workshops are two-hour, one time, one topic events that are offered throughout the year. This is your chance to learn the latest dog training techniques to prevent or solve common pet problems. Workshops are a combination of lecture, demonstration, and hands-on practice.

Planning to adopt a rescued dog? Getting ready for a new puppy? Whether you are a life-long dog owner or a first-time adopter, this workshop will supply you with the most current information on house training, successful introductions to other family pets, preventing separation anxiety, crate-training, and common behavior problems. This is a people-only workshop. $20 |

Tired of cleaning up accidents? Frustrated that your dog doesn’t let you know when she needs to "go"? This workshop covers the best techniques for achieving a reliably house-trained dog, whether you’re starting with a new puppy or need remedial help for an older puppy or adult dog. Includes a book on housetraining and a doggie door bell. $25 |

Socials (Play Groups)
| Puppy Socials (ages 9-20 weeks) | |
Indoor, supervised, off-leash play sessions where you and your puppy will enjoy friendly interactions with other pups and their owners. Puppies will be paired or grouped by age/size/activity level. Requirements: For Puppies up to age 20 weeks. Owners attend with their puppies (no drop-offs). Puppies must have received at least 2 distemper/parvo shots and must have been in your home for a minimum of 2 weeks without illness. Current clients and their puppies are encouraged to attend as many puppy socials as possible for free. Potential clients and their puppies are invited, too. Come for a visit and check us out – we’d love to meet you. Your puppy must meet the above health requirements, and shot records are required for admission. We ask visitors to make a $10 donation to our rescue fund. Limited to 8 puppies, so please let us know when you plan to attend. |
