The Fundamental Dog

Whether you want to try Rally, Freestyle, or Obedience, heeling is an essential element to success. For Agility and Flyball, you need a dog who can work at a distance from the handler. In this class we will focus on teaching the dog to find and maintain heel position on both sides of handler. We’ll also work on sit, down, and stay at a distance, and going out to a target. Class is indoors; many exercises will be off leash. Dogs should be tolerant of other dogs/people, and familiar with clicker training.

Schedule & Cost: Six weekly one-hour classes, $135 for current and previous clients. This class is offered periodically, so if you don’t see it on the schedule, please let us know of your interest by sending a request form.
