Woodlands Recreation Center Classes
The Fundamental Dog provides seasonal classes as part of The Woodlands Recreation Center’s activity program. You do not need to be a resident of The Woodlands to attend. Registration and payment for these classes only are handled by The Woodlands Recreation Center. Please call 281-210-3950 and ask to sign up for Fun Dog class.
- Classes meet once a week for one hour. (Create-A-Class is flexible.)
- Small class size (4-6 dogs) provides the most individual coaching possible in a group setting.
- Familly members welcome! Kids over 10 may train. Multiple children must have a supervising adult, in addition to the handler.
- Health requirements: Adult dogs must have current rabies and distemper/parvo vaccinations. PUPPIES must have received two distemper/parvo vaccines prior to first class. All dogs and puppies must have been in your home without illness for the two weeks prior to start of class. Females in heat must reschedule.
- Dog Wardrobe: Plain buckle or snap collar, head-halter or harness with 4' or 6' leash. Please, no chain or slip collars or retractable leashes in class.
- Payment reserves your place in class. Fees are not refundable but may be transferred with Trainer's approval.
- Prospective students are invited to visit and observe classes in progress. Please contact us to make a reservation.
